Accessibility

ECSplicite aims to make its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, in keeping with the spirit of the French General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA 4.1) and the international WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.

Compliance status

The website has been designed according to accessibility best practice but has not yet undergone a full third-party compliance audit. It is therefore declared partially compliant with RGAA 4.1. Improvements are made on an ongoing basis.

Measures implemented

• Semantic HTML structure with navigation landmarks (header, menu, main content, footer) and a single main heading per page.
• Page language declared and a consistent heading hierarchy.
• Alternative text on informative images; purely decorative images are ignored by screen readers.
• Explicit labels associated with every form field.
• Full keyboard navigation, a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
• Colour contrast compliant with level AA; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
• Responsive, readable display on mobile, tablet and desktop; fluid content with no fixed width.
• Locally hosted fonts, with no reliance on third-party services.

Non-accessible content and known limitations

Some downloadable documents (PDF) published previously may not be fully accessible. We endeavour to provide an accessible HTML version or an alternative on request.
